For .NET development on Windows the .NET framework (version 1.1 or version 2.0) must be installed.
For J# development a J# Redistributable package must be installed.
Mono is supported on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. X-develop automatically detects Mono installations.
If a Mono installation is not automatically detected it can be configured in the Integration | Mono section
of the Preferences Dialog.
